After seeing The God's Must Be Crazy repeatedly in the last month, little L has been begging me to make her a bow and arrow.
Now when I was a youngster I enjoyed making and playing with bows and arrows too, only to little Gracie growing up in Wyoming and Montana, I was an Indian of course.
Fast forward 20 or so years to little Ella growing up in Africa. She too plays with bows and arrows but instead of being an Indian she pretends that she is a Kalahari bushman and wanders about making clicking noises and trying to kill and eat her pets.
My how the times have changed... ;)

The hunters with their weapons made of sticks and that all purpose, bright orange, Montana bailing twine!

The mighty hunter shooting herself a zebra

Another mighty hunter shooting something else (the photographer perhaps?)

Stalking the prey....

Score one very dead dog

King of the Beasts (before her death of course)

This beast of prey fights back by stealing and eating the hunters arrows

One hunters reaction to the retaliation

A hunter sharpening her arrow. Or preparing to gut her kill. Or peeling her matooke...

* No animals were harmed in the making of this hunt
